For lunch today I stopped at Stein’s Deli, reportedly the only true New York-style Jewish deli here. It’s run by Dan Stein, a partly crazy but delightful guy.
This sandwich is called the Fernando - proscuitto, fresh mozarella made in-house, and pesto all on ciabatta that tastes better than most I’ve ever had. It was, in a word, delightful.
Oh, and the ginger beer was no small shakes either.
